V. User Utilities

A. Edit User Profile
1. Edit Personal Information: Click on the boxes provided. When the blinking cursor is in one of the boxes, use the keyboard to enter the correct information. Please make sure this information is updated in our database, so you will be in our system.

Note: Without an e-mail address present, you will not be able to send e-mails through the
           Eradication Manager.

2. Associate Trappers: To add a trapper to your account, find and highlight their name in the box and press “Add New”.

3. Change password: To change your Eradication Manager password, click on the Edit User Profile button.  Near the bottom of the Edit User Page there are 3 blank boxes with password descriptions next to them.  Your password can contain any letters or numbers, and can be as long or as short as you wish.  To change your password:

     a. Type your current password in the box with "Old Password"
     b. Type your desired new password in the second box, "New Password"
     c. Retype your new password in the third box, "Retype New Password"
     d. Click on the "Change Password" command button.
     e. That's it!  Your password is now changed.

Note: The next time you log in to the system use your new password.

B. Recent maps
This page keeps a list of maps that you have viewed recently. You can at this time:
1. Name a map or change the name- by typing the name in the box, and then
    pressing “change”.
2. View the map- Press “View Map”
3. Download the map(in Zip format to be viewed in Arc Explorer)-Press “Download”.
    At the next screen, you are given the size of the map along with a link to download it.
    Press the “Download Map Shapes” to begin process. Next, press the “Save File”
    Button(if using Netscape). It will ask where you want to save it and a name. Now,
    Press “save” to transfer file.
4. Mark as Saved or Unsaved- The maps are only kept so long.  If you want to keep a
    map, mark it as saved by pressing the “Mark as Saved” button.

C. Download Shapes
Search - This allows the FUS to search for a desired shape file (*.shp) to be viewed with ArcExplorer or ArcView.  There are varying parameters the search can be done by (county, STR, etc).  Layer is the theme of the shape file such as roads or lakes.

D. Current Downloads
This page contains shape files that are available for download without searching.
