A. Searching & Mapping
1. Search Page:
This function is used to find fields, field information, and maps of
those fields. You can run a search by using the field information or the
location of the Field. When using the field information, you can run a
search by entering Field ID, Status, Acreage, Spray status, Producers first
and/or last name, Corporation Name, and/or Producer Corporation ID.
When running a search by location, you can enter by County, or Section
and Township of the SE corner and/or NW corner, and Range.
Note: When running a search for a field, the information that you give can be as narrow as the section, township and range or as broad as the county the field is in. The search will run according to the information you provide.
After you have specified your search, at the bottom of the screen you need to press “Run Search” to find your field or “Reset All” to clear your choices.
2. Results Page: Once you arrive at the
results page, you have the options to:
a. View a map:
You can view a map by different sizes:(600x600, 800x800
and so on up to 2400x2400)
b. Print List:
You can print a list of the search you have just completed.
c. View Field Records:
To view a field record, click on the last four numbers
of a particular field ID number.
This will give you cotton field statistics for that
field.
i. Field Management:
Add a boll weevil count-(needs total count, date, crop stage, and trapper)(B)
Spray Event-marks field to be sprayed(needs comment and trapper)(B)
Delete field-erases field from system(MF)
ii. Field Specifics- gives information on
the field(AF)
(corporation name, producer name, acres, perimeter, center, estimated number
of traps, irrigated, sensitive site, air spray, GPS time, crop stage, last
sprayed,
and last Boll weevil count.)
1. Corporation
ID: Identification number for that corporation
2. Corporation
Name: Name of the corporation
3. Producer
Name: Gives the owner/operator of the corporation. You can click on
the producer to go to the systems information for that producer.
4. Area: gives
the area of the field
5. Estimated
number of Traps: Gives a computer generated estimation of the
number of traps that should be in the field
iii. Make Inactive- Changes the status
of the field by marking a field inactive
iv. Field Events- shows type, event
date, processed date, who was notified, and
remarks(AF)
v. Boll Weevil Count- shows boll weevil
count per 40 acres, date, and crop stage(AF)
d. Other options:
-View more results-press the “Next”
button to see more results
-New Search-to run another search

B. Archive: Searching and Mapping
This function is used to clone/copy a field from the previous year.
To find a field, see section on “Searching and Mapping”. Once you have
clicked on your field, there will be a button called “Make New Field(Clone)”
above the Field Specifics section. Press the “Make New Field(Clone)” button.
This will keep all the same information of the field and add it to the
new database.
C. County Statistics
County Statistics shows you county by county statistics. These statistics
include: County, Acreage, Fields, Acreage/Field, Producers, and Number
of Fields to be Mapped. A total for each statistic is produced at the bottom
of the table.
If you click on the statistical heading, all numbers under that heading
will be arranged in descending order from greatest to least.
Note: If you click on the county, it will give you a list of the fields in that county.
D. Weekly Reports
The Weekly Report screen gives you a list of the number of weeks in
the year. Each week’s screen shows you county by county statistics for
that week. The statistics include: County, Acreage, Fields, Acreage/Field,
Palm Pilot Usage, Trappers Reporting Week|YTD, Fields Inspected Week|YTD,
Weevils Captured Week|YTD, Traps Inspected Week|YTD, Avg Weevils per Trap
Week|YTD.
Note: It also gives a total for each statistic at the bottom of the table.
